Educational structure of Andorra

Andorran Education System
This system is Andorra’s own and is based on the rights, liberties and principles established in the Andorran Constitution.
There are currently 12 schools based on Andorran education throughout the Principality.
French Education System
This is another of Andorra’s public education systems. It is therefore subsidized by the French Government.
The recurrent language in this school is French and its facilities are located in Andorra la Vella: the Lycée Comte de Foix.
Spanish Education System
This is one of the most famous education systems in Andorra. It is fully subsidized by the Spanish Government and its school is the Spanish school Maria Moliner. All these schools in Andorra are good options for your children.
Common conditions
While the educational systems differ, they all share some basic points such as following the rights, freedoms and teaching based on the Andorran Constitution.
They also all follow the guidelines set by the Principality’s Ministry of Education.
The British College of Andorra

As a teacher training center, it provides training in primary schools. Initially, the stages last 3 to 4 months. Curiosity, delight and discovery are extremely important in childhood.
Primary development takes place between the ages of 5 and 11. It is a time when students learn to respect and enhance their abilities. The school strives for excellence through the national curriculum and the education system of Great Britain.
Sagrada Familia School of Escaldes Engordany
It is located within the Principality of Andorra. It consists of three stages of education: preschool, primary and secondary. In addition to its academic and professional activities, it is equipped for various extracurricular activities, such as food service, psychiatric and psychopsychological specialties.
They have motivated and enthusiastic teaching professors. In addition, teacher training was one of the institute’s educational projects, which accompanied the teachers through the ongoing updating process.
Agora Andorra International School
Agora International School of Andorra has a multicultural curriculum.
This school also helps the student to fully integrate into global worlds such as those in which he or she currently resides. The project focuses on Spanish, English, French and Catalan. This is a private school, so it is not subsidized by the Andorran state.
The student receives a very personalized treatment from the teachers. There is a strong focus on English as a language.
In addition, students can participate in specialized programming and experience language immersion. Programs that promote a stay in another place. Music and sports are other aspects of this educational program. Education is provided in three stages: elementary, middle and high school. University in Andorra
Although primary/secondary education is flexible and advanced, multilingual and offers a wide variety of options (it also offers tertiary education in both Spain and France) and higher education in Andorra is complicated.
The UdA is the only university in Andorra that opened its doors in 1997 and yet offers few undergraduate degrees, resulting in students who wanted to do more international recognition leaving the country and entering Spain and France. Although it is an early university, it has developed rapidly, is expanding internationally and has a more than adequate number of students.
